VISION Statement
We exist to help every person experience, embrace, and participate in the relational love of the Trinitarian God.
1. Gospel Rootedness
Ephesians 3:17-19 // Colossians 2:6-7
Simply put, the Gospel is the Good News of Jesus – His sinless life, sacrificial death, victorious resurrection, and future return to make all things new. This Good News is the foundation for everything we do at TCC. Our conviction is that when a church chooses to focus on anything other than the Gospel, it loses its true effectiveness in the world. The only thing we have to offer the world is the Gospel, and it is more than enough.
2. Radical Generosity
2 Corinthians 9 // 1 John 3:16-18
We are motivated by gratitude for all that Christ has freely given to us and will respond with radical generosity towards God and others. We recognize that everything we have – from our money to our time – has been entrusted to us by God. It all belongs to Him. Our role is to be generous stewards of His resources.
3. Loving Relationships
Genesis 1:26-27 // John 13:35
At the very center of the universe is a loving relationship – Father, Son, and Spirit. And we are created in the image of this Triune God. At our core, we are relational beings because God is a relational God. This is why Jesus can confidently say that the world will know we are His by the way we love one another.
4. Intentional Feasting
Isaiah 25:6-9 // Psalms 104:14-15 // Revelation 19:6-10
The people of God have always shared meals with purpose. From the Feasts of Israel to the centrality of the table in the early church, God’s people have seen food/drink as His good provision over them. Sharing food and drink around a table is a means by which we remember our union with God, our fellowship with other believers, and our call to join Jesus in His pursuit of the least, last, and lost.
5. Local Flourishing
Jeremiah 29:4-7 / Acts 17:26-27
We want to be who we are (followers of Jesus), where we are (in our neighborhood). We believe God has uniquely placed us in this community to seek the holistic well-being of every person we come into contact with. We desire to show up for our neighbors in small but profound ways: meals cooked, prayers prayed, games played, parties thrown, tears shed, reconciliation practiced, resources shared. We desire to see our homes, not as places we retreat from the world but rather as harbors to which the world comes for renewal and healing.
6. Intergenerational Discipleship
Psalms 71:18 // Titus 2
We desire to be a church where every generation is valued, respected, and intentionally discipled. We believe this happens best in a community where all ages can learn from each other as we seek to follow Jesus together as a faith family. This does not imply that age-stage ministries are not valuable (we do lots of them!) but simply means we are committed to caring well for each age group, “that we may present everyone mature in Christ.”
7. Dependant Prayer
1 John 5:14 / Luke 18:1-8
Our lifestyle of prayer demonstrates an expectant dependence on God as we look to Him to change hearts, restore families, heal sickness, and transform the world. We do not think that our prayers alone can change anything. Prayer, in and of itself, possesses no power. Prayer is powerful because God is powerful, and prayer is the means through which we tap into His divine power.

Foundational Beliefs
We stand with the historic, orthodox Christian faith & affirm the Apostles’ Creed:
I believe in God, the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit
and born of the virgin Mary.
He suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried;
he descended to hell.
The third day he rose again from the dead.
He ascended to heaven
and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty.
From there he will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic* church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. Amen.
* By which we mean the holy and global Christian church. Not to be confused with the Roman Catholic Church.
